Holy crap so hard not to be THAT spoilerbitch!!
Read this book!! Seriously, the is my 14th favourite book-nah, jes playing. This is my 1st favourite book in this series. Yah, I know, weird but read the damnbly great thing and you will see why!! I think I have a new favourite character and I WANT BOOK 5 NOW!!!! Mark, John....for all that is holy or unholy, doesn't matter a zombie's/night runner's left nut who you worship, give us some luv and book 5 at the same time!! Mark, you are my 1st fav male author and John, you are in the top 5. Plz gentlemen, pull your power as favourite authors out to get the next 10 books out, once a month would be great, k? Bye. Really, thank you guys...awesome wonderfully great book.
Fantastic!
Seriously, after the last book left us on that cliff hanger I wanted to strangle Mark & John for doing that to us, but this book came back with a bang! I'm a huge fan of both of their individual series and I love having Mike Talbot & Jack Walker together. The story line is seamless, the two characters play so well off each other, they were made to be in books together. So I'm super happy with this series. These books never lead you where you think you're headed and that's the fun. I highly recommend picking up the Zombie Fallout & A New World Series, (they're both great) but they also add some depth to this series as background information as to what each character has been fighting in their own worlds. I don't do spoilers, so none here. Just pick this book and the rest of this series up already! Thanks again Mark & John for another fantastic ride. Now get to writing book 5 already!!!
A well written horror/adventure
The collaboration of 2 authors who excel in their field, with writing styles almost 180 degrees apart, becomes a great series. The authors have teamed up their readers' favorite characters; O’Brien’s, Jack Walker and Tufo's, Mike Talbot. Having become separated they meet up again, together creating a formidable team. Talbot’s peculiar and offbeat friend Tripp is the icing on the cake. A most unusual and unique horror story. Perfect.
Meta-Information about my favorite book series....
Who the Hell is Trip really? Why again is Talbot kicked back and forth through the Realities? Will the intrepid Jack Walker ever again see his family or just pale copies... An extra in-depth look at the meta-reality encompasing Tufo's and O'Brien's worlds that is sure to entertain. That being mentioned it is the 4th book and will be very confusing if you don't read the first 3 Shrouded World books. A great read with all the elements fans of both authors are expecting.
Another great book by the duo.
This collaboration between Mark Tofu and John Obrien is addicting for me. The 5th book is coming hopefully and we can continue Jack, Trip and Mike's journey. Will Jack get home? Now having read Jack's story in New World I'm not sure that's a good idea. Action, adventure, stress, elation at the wins, and fear of the unknown. Love this series.
Love Tufo
Michael Talbot/Mark Tufo are never a disappointment. From the moment I picked up one of his books, I have not been able to stop reading his work. He is funny, kind, thoughtful, generous to his readers and loyal fans. Read this book; read this series. Follow Mark Tufo.
left wanting more
It was great having Mike, Trip, and John back together again. There were so many unanswered questions at the end of the last book. Some were answered, yet more questions are left. This has got to be the best of the series to date. I felt for Jack on many levels when he arrived in Vahalla. Mike and Trip have found Jack, and made some new friends along the way. Too many questions left unanswered. Cannot wait for the continuing saga. Excellent book!!!!
Definitely a Must Read!
GREAT JOB MARK TUFO AND JOHN O'BRIEN! I kept seeing all these reviews for A Shrouded World, so decided to see what all the fuss is about. I was definitely not disappointed at all. I read books 1-4 of this series this weekend and I had a very difficult time putting down. I recommend Mark Tufo and John O'Brien to all that I talk to :-) Side Note: You 2 are killing me with the cliffhanger on Valhalla!
10 Stars!!!
I was so excited when I realized this had been released! Of course I have not been able to put it down since I started reading it. Like every other book by these 2 authors, this one was amazing! I love both characters and the switching narrative between the 2 of them is awesome. Keep writing and hurry up with book 5!
The Real Curmudgeon Review
Pretty good book. Our heroes are in over their heads in the various worlds they flicker in and out of. The mystery of Trip and his strange ways start to get explained as well as the many creatures they have encountered. This book sets the stage for the next. Enjoy!
